This session is highly interactive, and you will have the opportunity to get your own agency’s questions answered as well! How well do you know the ADA and what you NEED to do?

Understanding Transportation
Overview of Course: This course provides information about transportation services and how to leverage existing resources to connect communities. Learn more about why the different transportation providers operate differently and how to work within the rules of the industry to help individuals overcome transportation barriers.
While this is an online course, there is an opportunity to share experiences, ideas and knowledge with colleagues. The course contains webinar modules and assignments, and online interaction. The format is flexible enough to allow busy professionals to log in and work at any hour of the day or night. Learners will be expected to participate in approximately 6 concentrated hours on activities over the span of the course.
Module 1: How Transit Programs Operate
Module 2: Transportation Plans
Module 3: Understanding the Regulations to Assist Passengers
Module 4: Transit Stakeholders and Organizations
Module 5: Homework Assignment
In order for learners to receive a completion certificate and for the course to count toward the Certified Mobility Manager program, the following is required:
· Completion of all required modules
· Completion of the homework assignment
