NADTC 5310 Project Roadmap
NADTC's 5310 Project Roadmap intends to guide Section 5310 direct and designated recipients and eligible subrecipients through the planning and sustaining of a 5310-funded transportation project. Three Section 5310 programs, including both direct or designated and subrecipients, that have implemented a successful and innovative project will be highlighted through a series of 2 webinars and an online discussion forum, providing replicable ideas for other program managers.
The webinars will feature a panel discussion of 5310 program staff sharing their insights and experience in three areas: conceptualizing, planning, and sustaining a unique and successful transportation program for older adults and people with disabilities. The online discussion forum will be available during the weeks following each webinar, allowing attendees to ask questions of presenters, NADTC staff, Coordination Advisory Committee members and other attendees about additional details not addressed through the webinar.

Introduction to Transportation Boot Camp
With a wave of transportation industry professionals set to retire in the coming years and a new generation of employees coming on board who may still be learning the basics of effective administrative and operations practices for transit and other modes, NADTC is holding a Transportation Boot Camp. Participants will learn about communication, emergency management, finance, human resources, operations, and vehicle and facilities maintenance.
This six-week online course is open to anyone; however, it’s particularly targeted toward newer professionals. Work at your own pace to complete the course assignments, listen to webinars, and submit all work by March 1 to receive a completion certificate.
