Course/Webinar Overview:

Transit agencies develop Rider’s Guides and key policies for managing their daily operations. The expectation is that these policies are followed at all times. We all know that many times, we break our own policies by how we operate on a day-to-day basis. One driver does things her way, and another driver does things his way. Usually these are not major policy violations, but they can cause problems for the transit agency. What is your policy for carrying grocery bags? What is your policy for wait times for passengers to come out and get on the bus? Do you allow solicitation on your premises? This workshop will cover the importance of matching practices and policies and how to make it work (and what happens if you don’t!).
